Avoid decimal rounding for supported arithmetic

The exact command parses decimal input into rational numbers and evaluates addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and bounded integer powers without binary floating-point evaluation.

exact: 0.1 + 0.2

Keep the fraction

Repeating decimals are shown with a truncated display after 32 fractional digits; the reduced fraction remains the exact answer. Division by zero and oversized expressions are rejected.

exact: 1/3 + 1/6

Know the limits

Exact rational arithmetic does not provide arbitrary symbolic algebra, financial accounting policy, transcendental functions or measurement certainty. Input precision and units remain your responsibility. The ordinary calculate command remains floating-point arithmetic.
